21,756 UK companies have entered the Warning Area since H2 2022
The outlook for 2023 remains the same as last year. Insolvencies and the number of companies in our Warning Area (H-Score® less than 25) have continued to rise... 📈
The number of companies in the Warning Area, and therefore showing signs of significant distress, grew from 990,674 in December to 992,040 in January, a further increase of 1,366 companies.
That means a total of 21,756 companies have now moved into the Warning Area since the start of H2 2022 😟
It’s also worth remembering that many businesses have taken advantage of the Companies House filing extension. We expect to see a greater number of companies moving into our Warning Area due to their H-Score® moving as the accounts hit our database and algorithm over the coming weeks.
